How to get ready for your first house cleaning
Good news first: you do not need to clean before the cleaners arrive. A few small things, though, help our team spend their time on the cleaning that matters most to you. Here's a simple checklist.
A quick tidy of surfaces
You don't need to deep clean anything — that's our job. But a quick pass to clear heavy clutter off counters, tables, and floors lets us clean those surfaces thoroughly instead of working around piles.
Secure valuables and anything fragile
Put away cash, jewelry, and irreplaceable or delicate items. It's simple peace of mind for everyone, and it lets the team clean confidently.
Plan for pets
Let us know about pets ahead of time, and secure any that might be anxious around new people or an open door. Friendly pets are always welcome — we just want them safe and comfortable.
Tell us your priorities
- The rooms or tasks that matter most to you
- Any products you'd prefer we use in your home
- Areas you'd like us to skip or be extra careful with
Make access easy
Most customers set up a complimentary secure lockbox so cleanings stay on schedule whether or not they're home. If you'll be out, that's the easiest way to make sure you come home to a clean house.
That's it. Everything else is on us — including your Rotational Deep Clean, built into every visit.
